The Sixth Deadly Sin

According to Newsweek, Genghis Khan, Pope Sixtus IV, Empress Dowager Cixi, Bernard Maldoff, and Imelda Marcos have one thing in common – they are all guilty of the sixth deadly sin, avarice. Then again, we may have been guilty of this sin, too. But let’s just say that they managed to wreck the greed-o-meter because they were named as the Greediest People of All Time.
Imelda, to some people, may be greedy and to some, a shoe collector extraordinaire. Remember the word imeldific?
imeldific. adj. Ostentatiously extravagant to the point of vulgarity
